ROTTERDAM the always changing town
Rotterdam, this city always changes in sense of art, architecture, culture, … . Rotterdam is the economic center of the Netherlands and also an architecture hot spot. Many very good known architects left their traces here.
First of all here is a link with some explanations to Rotterdam:
My objective to visit Rotterdam was: Take as much photos of the famous architecture as I can. Next year I will participate on a photo exhibition: “Architecture and Light”. So I took also several photos under low light conditions.
Photo Sources
I will present you the photos at the location where I have done the recording. Here our guide was the famous Marcel, who is a living architecture knowledge base. This time I took two cameras with me: My LUMIX G9II with the LEICA 12-60 Lens (24-120mm) and my LEICA Q2 Monochrome. My aim with the LEICA was / is to gain experience how BW photos let architecture appear reduced to contrast and line.
Now lets start with the locations: You can select each photo by clicking on it
