Located in the north of Cologne right to the Rhine Riverside the park of Schloss Stammheim is worth a visit. Founded in the 10th century the park is now a location of recreation and art. In 2002 the town of cologne decided to use the area as sculpture park. And so you can see today a remarkable collection of modern sculptures designed by various artists.

Each artiest tries to reflect own ideas in the artwork. This is often remarkable. Even if you look at a sculture every point of view has its own expression. With my photos I can only reflect a two dimension image. That gives only limeted impression of the artwork. But I can integrate some other aspects into the picture. That is light, shadow, dimension, perspective, ….. .
