For summer holidays I travelled to Pfarrkirchen. Here you will find the spirit of Bavaria. Pfarrkirchen is a nice little town located in the south east of Germany. This landscape is called Niederbayern. Here the border to Austria is very near and I did a journey to Linz in Austria and also to Passau in Germany.
Linz is a very impressive town. Here you will find a medieval spirit paired with modernity. Some of the following images will give you some impressions.
Also Passau is a imposing town. From here the Bishop of Passau ruled the huge regions in Germany and Austria. He spended a lot of means for buildings and culture. Here I lived in the house of my brother in law with a wonderful agricultural surrounding.

Photolocations around Parrkirchen
Pfarrkirchen offers also a wide variety of photo motives. In the town you will find a park with sculptures. The Gartelberg with the church and monastery is worth a visit.
Around Vilshofen you will find some churches with paitings from the Asam Brothers. Also Vislhofen has its own spirit.
If you visit Passau you will find countless motives: in the old center of Passau and also with a ship from the Danube.
Even Linz, the capital town of Niederösterreich will give many motives for photos. In the inner town you will find some impressive buildings. Art Objects you will find in the museums and in the town. A walk at the danube side leads you along the Lento Museum, Bruckner House and die Old Zigarette Factory with Buildings from Peter Behrends.
