At Frauenau Reflexion in the Water

Ancient glass manufactures at the Bavarian Woods and Bohemian Forest are located here. At Frauenau you will find the glass manufactures of Von Poschinger (one of the eldest manufacture in this area) and the manufacure of Erwin Eisch.

Both manufactures are also known for their artist work and knowledge. So it takes no wonder, that you will find at Frauenau the “Glasmuseum” .

Here you will get an impression how glass was manufactured in former times . But also you will find here an impressive collection of ancient and modern glass.

Artists working with glass can combat for the “Bayernwald Glaspreis”.

I was here for several times. That’s because I love the “Bayernwald” nature but also the Glass-Work presented in the “Frauenau Glasmuseum”. I also I love to visit the manufactures exihitions. Here you will also find glass objects from various artists.

The community of Frauenau has also created two park areas where you will find modern glass work and sculptures often integrated in the nature. So this gives the area an “Extra Kick”.

As I was here very often I took allways a Camera with me. Here you will find some impressions from my last visit. First I want to show you the park between “Erwin Eisch Hütte” and the center of Frauenau:

A second park area you will find on the side of the train station at Frauenau. Not so far away from the glass manufacture and exibition rooms of Von Poschinger also some glass artists are working in this area. Here I took also some fotos.
