The Location
The Botanic Garden Berlin (Botanischer Garten Berlin) ist located in the South West Area of Berlin. With public transport you can reach the garden very fast from any location in Berlin.

In the carnival time of Cologne my wife and me will escape to other carnival free locations. We decided to visit Berlin and good friends living here. This year in February the weather was quiet bad. The friends of us and we took the decision to visit the Botanical Garden of Berlin. At this time the camellia is showing the blossoms. Also other plants are blowing at this time and the climate in the green houses is very comfortable.

As you can see the Botanical Garden is worth a visit at any time of the year. Also the outside of the garden is very impressive starting with the cherry blossom in April.
